Treatment recommendations are based on individual patient evaluation, imaging findings, and current clinical evidence.
Bone Marrow Stem Cell Treatment
Bone Marrow Stem Cell Treatment utilizes cells and biologically active components obtained from the patient’s own bone marrow. After processing, the concentrate is delivered to the affected area using image-guided techniques.
This procedure may be considered for selected patients with:
- Knee osteoarthritis
- Hip arthritis
- Cartilage injuries
- Meniscus tears

- Avascular Necrosis (AVN)
- Tendon disorders
Shoulder
- Rotator cuff disorders
- Shoulder arthritis
- Labral injuries

Recovery protocols are individualized according to the patient’s diagnosis, procedure performed, physical condition, and functional goals. Follow-up evaluations allow treatment plans to be adjusted as healing progresses, supporting a safe return to work, sports, and everyday activities.
Clinical Approach to Patient Care
Dr. Venkatesh Movva believes that effective orthopedic care begins with understanding the individual rather than simply treating a diagnosis. Every patient’s symptoms, functional needs, lifestyle, and health goals are different, and treatment recommendations should reflect those differences. His clinical approach combines thoughtful evaluation, clear communication, and evidence-informed decision-making to develop treatment plans that are appropriate for each patient’s condition.
Individualized Evaluation
No single treatment is appropriate for every patient with arthritis, a sports injury, or chronic musculoskeletal pain. Before making recommendations, Dr. Movva performs a comprehensive clinical assessment that considers:
- Medical history
- Physical examination
- Diagnostic imaging
- Functional limitations
- Activity level
- Previous treatments
- Individual goals and expectations
Evidence-Informed Clinical Decision-Making
Depending on the diagnosis, management may include:
- Activity modification
- Physical therapy and rehabilitation
- Image-guided interventions
- Regenerative orthopedic procedures for appropriately selected patients
- Surgical referral when conservative treatment is unlikely to provide meaningful benefit
The objective is to recommend the most appropriate treatment—not simply the newest or least invasive option.
Shared Decision-Making
Dr. Movva believes patients should have a clear understanding of their diagnosis and the available treatment options before making healthcare decisions.
During each consultation, he discusses:
- The nature of the condition
- Expected disease progression
- Available treatment options
- Potential benefits and limitations of each approach
- Expected recovery timelines
- When surgery may—or may not—be appropriate
This collaborative process enables patients to participate actively in decisions about their care while ensuring that treatment plans align with their individual priorities and lifestyle.

Dr. Venkatesh Movva treats a wide range of sports injuries, including runner’s knee, ligament sprains, tendon injuries, meniscus tears, rotator cuff disorders, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, and ankle injuries through evidence-based non-surgical orthopedic care.
When should runners see a sports medicine specialist for knee pain?
Can cycling cause knee or hip pain?
Yes. Poor bike fit, overtraining, muscle imbalances, or improper cycling mechanics can contribute to knee, hip, and lower back pain. A detailed assessment helps determine the source of symptoms.
How can golfers prevent shoulder and elbow injuries?
Proper swing mechanics, flexibility training, strength conditioning, and early treatment of pain can help reduce the risk of common golf-related injuries.
Do I need surgery for a sports injury?
Not always. Many sports injuries can be successfully managed with rehabilitation, image-guided procedures, regenerative orthopedic treatments when appropriate, and activity modification.
What is runner's knee, and how is it treated?
Runner’s knee is a common overuse condition that causes pain around the kneecap. Treatment depends on the underlying cause and may include rehabilitation, gait correction, strengthening exercises, and other non-surgical therapies.
Can PRP help with tendon injuries?
PRP may be considered for selected tendon disorders after a comprehensive evaluation. Suitability depends on the specific diagnosis, severity, and current clinical evidence.
What treatments are available for cycling-related injuries?
Treatment may include rehabilitation, biomechanical assessment, therapeutic exercises, regenerative orthopedic procedures, and image-guided interventions based on the injury.
How does sports medicine differ from general orthopedic care?
Sports medicine focuses on injury prevention, performance optimization, rehabilitation, and helping patients safely return to physical activity without surgery whenever possible.
What is active aging in orthopedic care?
Active aging focuses on maintaining strength, mobility, balance, and joint health, allowing older adults to continue participating in exercise, sports, and daily activities.
Can arthritis patients continue running or cycling?
Some patients can continue participating in low-impact or modified activities depending on the severity of arthritis and guidance from their physician.
What causes recurring tendon injuries?
Incomplete rehabilitation, muscle weakness, poor biomechanics, repetitive overuse, and returning to activity too early can all contribute to recurrent tendon problems.
Can image-guided procedures improve treatment accuracy?
Yes. Ultrasound and fluoroscopic guidance allow precise visualization of the treatment area, improving procedural accuracy and safety.

Regenorthosport, though relatively new to India (the principal institution started in the USA as far back as in 2005 or so,I was keen to study their credentials, published research and protocols before I interacted with their Hyderabad branch/franchise in the field of modern noninvasive treatments for almost all orthopaedic and tissue damage conditions ) Dr Ananad gives the first impression when a patient meets him that he is genuinely concerned about the patient’s health. He strives to suggest the best treatment options suited to the patient’s age and specific condition. He distinguishes in prioritising patient’s swift and best recovery. Of course, with his wealth of world class qualifications and training, he offers nothing but the best treatment. Regenerative line of treatment is the least invasive yet with the best scope for smooth recovery and Dr Anand and Regenorthosport clinic have brought world class noninvasive treatment to the doorstep of Hyderabad. We are glad that we personally sought his invaluable service . The clinic is equipped with the best in class equipment and has a wonderful support team. KudosPosted on Google![]()

We have consulted this hospital for my wife Meniscal tear condition. Before this hospital, we have enquired with many other hospitals for treatment options as we were looking for non-invasive methods.. After consultation with Dr Anand Alluru, we have got more confidence on the treatment method and they are very genuine about the results as well. They have not given false commitments like you will get 100% back to normal but they gave a confidence that you will be far better than current condition and the benefits will be long term. They treated my wife with combination of stem cell therapy(extracted from patient bone marrow) and PRP. Its been now 3 months from the treatment, the results are beyond our expectation and my wife is very happy with the results and improvement in her condition. We are happy to recommend this hospital to others without any second thought.
